On 3rd to 4th April, 2019, the 15th International Conference on Green Building & High Efficiency and New Technologies and Products Expo has been successfully held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. The conference is jointly organized by Chinese Society for Urban Studies, Shenzhen People’s Government, U.S.-China Green Fund, China Green Building Council and Eco-city Research Committee. The China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council organized experts, scholars, industry insiders, and students in the field of green building and other relevant fields from Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland and Taiwan, to attend this grand event.

The 12th China Green Building Council Member Committee Meeting was held at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center on 3 April 2019. This meeting summaries the main work result in 2018 and provide the 2018 Excellent Council Award. China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council is honor to have this awarding. Besides, the CGBC(HK) Exco Members, Ms. CHAO Ming Chun, Mr. YIM Yu Chau and Mr. TSANG Ka Kau, award the 2018 Best Green Building Expert Volunteers.

At the invitation of Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau and the Fifteen International Conference on Green and Energy-efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo (Green Expo) organizing committee, China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council together with Center for Housing Innovations, Shenzhen Green Building Association, China Green Building and Energy Saving (Macau) Association, etc. successfully held the Hand in Hand for the Green Greater Bay Area green building industry development forum.

The 6^th GBL Manager Training organized by China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council was held at Hong Kong Science Park on 1 April 2019 successfully. The training content focus on 《Assessment standard for green building》 (GB/T 50378-2014), and this training provides more opportunities for green building technical exchange.

Themed by Green Building and Green Community for Sustainable and Resilient Human Habitats in Tropical and Subtropical Regions, The 8^th International Conference of Tropical and Subtropical Green Building Council Alliance & 9^th Cross-Strait Green Building Technology Development Forum was successfully held by China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council CGBC(HK) and Center for Housing Innovations (CHI) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong at Hong Kong Science Park from 16^th November to 18^th November. More than 300 experts, scholars, young students and teenagers from the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan as well as tropical and subtropical countries gathered in Hong Kong to discuss issues related to resilient and the construction of a sustainable living environment. Prof. TSOU Jin Yeu, chairman of the conference, officiated at the opening ceremony and introduced the work and future vision of CGBC(HK) and CHI. Zeng Fanxin, Vice minister of industry and information technology of Taiwan attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a speech. Lu Jinbang, deputy director of education science and technology department, read a letter of congratulations on behalf of Li Lu, minister of education science and technology department. Prof. Wang Youwei, chairman of the China Green Building Council, delivered a speech on behalf of China Green Building Council.
