We are pleased to release the e-Proceedings of the 8th International Conference of Tropical and Subtropical Green Building Council Alliance & 9th Cross-Strait Green Building Technology Development Forum. The conference has been successfully held from 16 to 18 November 2018 in Hong Kong with the theme “Green Building and Green Community for Sustainable and Resilient Human Habitats in Tropical and Subtropical Regions”.
The Conference Proceedings is a collection of 69 peer-reviewed papers contributed by prominent academics, professionals, younger researchers and students in the field of green building, as well as 6 extended abstracts of keynote presentations. Through disseminating this e-proceedings, we hope to consolidate the academic exchanges, inspire people to further the investigation about sustainable human habitats, and promote academic and industry collaboration in tropical and subtropical regions. Meanwhile, we expect that more young talents will be inspired to engage in the career related to green buildings, sustainable living and environment conservation etc., thus contribute to the sustainability and resilience of urban environments in the tropical and subtropical regions.
