On 15th June 2018, CGBC(HK) CONCOURSE – 1st Connecting and Reconnecting Session was successfully held at Hong Kong Science Park. The session was well-attended by over 50 participants including our members, industry pioneers from HKGBC, ASHRAE, HKIA, Shenzhen Green Building Association, Green School principals as well as CUHK alumni and students to meet and engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas. Prof. TSOU Jin Yeu, the chairman of CGBC(HK), delivered the welcome remarks and introduced the mission of CGBC(HK) - “B.E.L.T.”,its development and future plan. The session also celebrated the achievement of GBL Managers and presented the certificates. CGBC(HK) CONCOURSE is not only a valuable beginning to gather professionals in Hong Kong and mainland China, which is also a vital step to expand its linkage with overseas professionals.
To empower the sustainable future, CGBC(HK) will continue to promote green building and low carbon eco-city development in the Greater Bay Area by following “The Belt and Road Initiative” and Hong Kong SAR government’s momentum in developing green building, create a bridge for exchange of green building applications and practices, and fulfill the obligation to provide general education and foster the youth to engage in the field of green building.
