Seminar Highlights:
“Low-carb” is a prevailing fashion nowadays. You are likely getting 378 million results from Google search in half a second! Of course, it means low-carbohydrate food when we are talking about diet or meals while, in building construction industry, it means low-carbon emission. We all know that it is not possible to achieve low-carb building only by design but the whole process including also the construction and operation.
This seminar will talk about this important issue from green building design point of view. In particular “Green Building Labelling” (GBL), one of the three certification programs available in Hong Kong. Today the GBL project assessment is based on the “Assessment Standard for Green Building” that has been optimized for Hong Kong. The speaker will share his experience of green building design not only in Hong Kong but the Greater Bay Area as well; and will share his view on the contribution of green building design to low-carb buildings.
