“International Technical Forums and Networking Activities” under Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme (“PASS”) was held on 15 Oct. 2025 successfully, which is organized by Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, and collaborated by China Green Building (Hong Kong) Council and BEAM Society Limited.

The conference attracted over 480 professionals and scholars who participated both online and offline, receiving widespread acclaim. The theme of the seminar was "The Development and Implementation of Green Building in Hong Kong," aiming to explore the latest technologies and applications in low-carbon and green buildings, and to jointly promote the development and cooperation of green buildings.
Keynote Speeches by Invited Experts
The seminar schedule included a wealth of keynote speeches and expert discussion sessions. Keynote speakers included Ir. ZHOU Quan, Deputy Chief Engineer, Guangdong Provincial Academy of Building Research Group Co., Ltd.; Dr. ZENG Junjian, General Manager, Hong Kong Research Institute of Architectural Science and Innovation Technology Limited; Ir. Tommy SZETO, Manager, Business Environment Council Limited; and Ar. GUAN Xuanhui, Deputy, Guangdong Nanhai International Architectural Design co., ltd. The expert discussion session was chaired by Vise Director of the China Green Building (HK) Council, Prof. LEUNG Yee Tak, Andrew. Panelists included Ir. HO Chi Shing, Ar. GUAN Xuanhui, Ir. Tommy SZETO, Ir. LEONG Lai Shing, Fredrick, Executive Director, Aurecon Hong Kong Limited, and Ir. Marcus TANG, Assistant General Manager – Technical, New Charm Management Limited, Nan Fung Group. They shared their experiences and insights on the application of green building technologies.

The seminar not only showcased the latest green building technologies and solutions but also provided a valuable platform for industry cooperation. Through exchanges and cooperation, participants unanimously agreed that the future development of green buildings is full of hope and looked forward to further promoting and applying green building technologies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
